I finally finished the afghan I have been working on. It took me about 3 weeks. See, I get the headaches when I crochet. Bad ones. So if you have received anything from me that is crocheted, sewn or knitted, please know that it almost killed me. I kid. But, I do stay nauseous the whole time. Loads of joy and fun.
The afghan pattern was literally titled Quick and Easy. The hardest part was deciphering some of the hieroglyphs in the pattern and weaving in the 1000 ends. I used “I Love this Cotton!” Yarn. And I do love it. I am so glad that joni @ mommabare recommended it. Snuggle soft, and easy to work with, I give it high praise.
Here are my colors:
Blush & Bashful (HAHAHAHAHA!)
Oh yeah, I used that book ^^^ (purse on the front…you’re next!)
And now for the reveal:
As you can probably tell, there is a “wrong” side to the afghan. I am not a fan of wrong sides, but the ribbing looks okay on this particular one. To me. How bout you?
The picture in the book was a bit misleading on the size of the afghan. I thought it was a lap sized one, seeing that it was supposed to be “quick” and easy. Sorry for the wonky pic.
Well, there it is. I encourage you to get the book because it is chock full of adorable patterns.
Thanks for stopping by! God Bless and Happy Hooking!
Lovely. Well done. I’m glad to see the edging worked out. 🙂
